53Biologics Reach the Classroom Thanks to “Aprendiendo de las Empresas”

The Department of Chemical Vocational Training of IES Ramon y Cajal in Valladolid invited us to participate in the I Conference “Aprendiendo de las empresas”. Thanks to this event we could reach the classrooms and talk about what we do with the students.

IES Ramon y Cajal, good teaching good future

This high school center is part of the Junta de Castilla y León” educational platform. Their philosophy is good teaching, good future and guided by this mantra, they recently inaugurate the higher training cycle in Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological and Related Products. They also have other higher trining cycles such as Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or Analytical and Quality Control Laboratory.

Some of the teachers proposed that specialist in these fields share their knowledge with the students. That is how “Aprendiendo de las empresas” was created. As part of this Conference, IES Ramon y Cajal, more specifically, their Department of Chemical Vocational Training, invite 53Biologics as lecturer.

Teaching all we do at 53Biologics

Our Operations Manager, Carmen Martínez Rodríguez, gave a talk to the students about everything we do at 53Biologics. As future professionals they will be, it is our pleausure to taught them the reality of the biotechnological world and the roll of a CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization).

Carmen explain them all the services we offer as experts in protein production and our new RNA enzymes and plasmid DNA production services. All students were very involved and asked interesting questions (reflecting their interest in what we do). It is wonderful to see such passionate young people!

Looking forward to next year Conference “Aprendiendo de las empresas”

It feels like a duty sharing our knowledge with the future professionals of biotech world. At 53Biologics we are proud to have done our bit in their training.

We would like to thank the Department of Chemical Vocational Training of IES Ramón y Cajal for their invitation to this event. We are looking forward to next year Conference!
